Before closing its doors in 2005, The Liberty Theater was central to the entertainment scene of Lewiston. For over 80 years, the citizens of the Lewis Clark Valley sought out the theater family outings, first dates, and much more. We would love to hear your stories and memories of visits to the theater.
James Grow shares:
"I went to my first movie there as a little child. Darby O'Gill and the Little People. The screaming banshee terrified me and I got my foot caught in the chair and I screamed like a banshee. A lady with a flashlight had to come down the eilse and help me get my foot out. I am sure I and my mother were very popular in the theater that day."

Our goal is to collect 1,000 stories from LC Valley residents. We can't wait to hear.
